For the past 21 years, representatives from Bake-O-Glide have been attending The BBC Good Food Show. November sees The BBC Good Food Show arrive at the NEC in Birmingham. As always, we will be showcasing the latest developments to our range of high-quality baking and cooking accessories, along with our tried and trusted favourites.
The show opens on Wednesday 28th November and is open all day, every day until it closes on Sunday 2nd December. During this time, thousands of people with an interest in cooking will gather to experience live demonstrations, competitions, shopping, networking and more. A number of celebrity chefs and industry experts will appear to share their expert knowledge (and hopefully their tasty creations!) while masterclasses and interactive exhibits will give in-depth insights into cooking tips and tricks.
Many big names from the culinary world will be taking to the stage, bringing some well-loved TV cookery shows to life. John Torode and Greg Wallace, star judges of BBC's 'Masterchef' and 'Celebrity Masterchef' will be hosting a cooking competition whilst James Martin and The Hairy Bikers, of whom more exciting news soon to follow, will also be bringing their trademark styles and tastes to the event as they create and cook recipes live on stage. Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood will be giving a 'Great British Bake-Off' masterclass and there will be a very special appearance from the winner of this year's bake-off champion, John Whaite.
Cheese lovers will be pleased to hear that The BBC Good Food Show Winter will once again play host to the World Cheese Awards. This will be the third year running that the show has hosted this prestigious event, which is the largest competition of its type in the world. Established in excess of 20 years, the awards attracted more than 2,500 entries from 34 different countries last year. Judging is a serious matter, involving more than 200 expert tasters and buyers from around the world. CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) will be offering 'The Great British Beer Experience' which celebrates its tenth birthday at The Good Food Show this year. One of the much-anticipated tasting sessions will be looking at matching chocolate or cheese with different beers.
