Bake-O-Glide® Induction Hob Protector Circles 4 pack

The Bake-O-Glide® Induction Hob Protector Circles give you spot protection for individual cooking zones rather than the full hob. Because only the zones you use are covered, the rest of the hob stays clear and visible, which keeps touch controls and displays easy to reach and gives the hob a sleeker look than a full mat. The flexible, non-stick silicone coating helps reduce pan movement, particularly with heavier cookware such as cast iron, while allowing efficient heat transfer during cooking.

Original vs Edged vs Circles vs Solid

All four protectors are built on the same heat-resistant silicone coated fabric. The difference comes down to the edges and the surface, how much spill protection you want on top of everyday scratch protection, and how much of the hob you want covered.

How to Use

Place a Bake-O-Glide® Induction Hob Protector Circle directly onto an induction hob cooking zone. The protector is designed to be used while cooking on induction hobs and allows heat to transfer safely while helping to protect the glass surface beneath.

Suitable Use

• Suitable for induction hobs only.
• Compatible with induction cookware when used on the correct cooking zone.
• Helps protect against scratches, scuffs, and marks.
• Helps reduce movement of cookware, including heavy cast iron pans.
• Can be left in place when not cooking to protect the hob surface.
• Heat resistant up to 250°C.

Individual Zone Protection

Unlike the full-hob Original, Edged, and Solid designs, the Circles are sized to sit on a single cooking zone. This keeps cookware positioned within the heating zone and maintains continuous conductivity between the hob and the pan when used correctly.

Leaving the rest of the hob uncovered keeps any touch controls, displays, or zones set into the glass clear and easy to reach, and suits anyone who only ever cooks on one or two rings and would rather not cover zones they're not using.

That's the trade-off with spot protection: you get a clearer, less cluttered hob, but anything outside the circles, spills, dropped utensils, scrapes from pans sliding across, is landing straight on the glass. If you'd rather have the whole surface covered, the Original, Edged, and Solid protectors all cover the full hob.

If required, the protectors can be trimmed carefully with scissors.

Cleaning & Care

The Circles are quick to keep clean. There are three simple ways to do it:

• Everyday wipe: Shake off crumbs or food residue into a waste bin, then wipe with warm water, mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth or sponge.
• Full clean: Remove the protector, rinse under warm water and clean with mild washing-up liquid. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a kitchen towel or leave to air dry.
• Deep clean: Soak with a dishwasher tablet in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and air dry.

Allow the hob and protectors to cool completely before cleaning.

For longest life, hand wash rather than using a dishwasher. The protectors can be used on both sides and stored rolled or flat once clean and dry.

For a spotless finish, many customers also use HG Hob Cleaner Extra Strong, Mr. Eco Cellulose Sponge Cloths, and the Spontex Microfibre Kitchen Cleaning Kit.

Care Tips

• Do not fold the protectors.
• Do not use scrapers or harsh brushes.
• Keep away from open flames or heating elements.
• White spots can appear over time. Please see our FAQs for the cause and prevention advice.
• Do not pull fibres if fraying occurs, and check there is no food or liquid trapped under the protector or cookware during use.

Returns

All returns must be authorised before being sent back.

2. Enter your order number and email address, then click “Start your return”
3. Follow the instructions and select the item(s) you wish to return
4. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email with shipping instructions
   

Eligibility

• Request a return within 30 days of receiving your order
• Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable
• Please include your name and order number with the return
  

Non-returnable items

Unless faulty, the following cannot be returned:

• Food or perishable goods
• Gift cards
• Free gifts or promotional items
  

After your return is approved

Please send your return within 14 days of approval. Returns sent later may be refused or partially refunded.

Costs & Refunds

• Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item was incorrect, damaged or faulty
• For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs apply and £5.95 may be deducted from the refund
• Refunds are issued after inspection and may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account
